What is a Neuromodulator?

Botox, Jeuveau, and Xeomin are collectively known as botulinum type A injections and are neuromodulators (sometimes called neurotoxins). They are commonly used to rejuvenate facial features as well as to treat muscle spasms, stiffness, and excessive sweating.

What are Fillers?

Fillers are made of a hyaluronic acid gel, which is a naturally-occurring substance in the skin that contributes to volume and hydration.

What is IV Therapy?

IV Therapy delivers fluids, vitamins, and nutrients directly into your bloodstream for fast, effective results. It’s used to boost hydration, support immunity, increase energy, and help with recovery from workouts, travel, illness, or hangovers—all with better absorption than oral supplements.

How Do Neuromodulator

injections Work?

Using a fine needle, injections are made into the facial muscles that cause frown lines and crow’s feet. The chemicals bind to the acetylcholine receptors, which cause facial muscle contraction and make it more difficult for muscle activity to occur. This reduces fine lines and wrinkles, giving you a more youthful appearance.

How Do Filler

injections Work?

Using a fine needle, Hyaluronic Acid Gel is injected into the face. It’s used to restore facial contours and improve signs of aging by actually filling in unwanted lines or wrinkles. It’s a treatment that focuses on the face, specifically the cheeks, lips, and around the mouth.

When Will I See Results?

For Neuromodulators, you may see results as early as 24 to 48 hours after your injections, when the chemicals are still binding to the acetylcholine receptors. Results typically become visible in 7 to 10 days after injection, with the maximum effect visible at 30 days. Filler results are actually seen immediately.

How Long will it Last?

For most of our patients, the effects of neuromodulator injections can last anywhere from 3-6 months. As they wear off, previously treated lines and wrinkles may reappear. But, with repeated treatment, some lines and wrinkles could appear less severe than before. Essentially, this is a result of the muscles having been trained to relax. Filler procedures can produce effects that last a year or more.
